Write for us
We welcome considered pitches about routines, possessions, home care, time and creative reuse. A strong contribution gives readers a clear idea to understand or a choice to make, without requiring costly purchases, specialist authority or a perfect household.
What makes a useful pitch
Send a short outline of the subject, the point you want readers to take away and the practical value of the piece. Explain how your angle differs from familiar advice, what examples you would use and any limits readers should know. A focused comparison, a thoughtful explanation or a careful account of common assumptions can all make a good starting point.
Our editorial fit
We look for original, clear writing that respects different budgets, homes and routines. Ideas should not depend on unsupported claims, unsafe instructions, professional advice or a product purchase as the only solution. Please identify any relevant interests or relationships that could affect how a proposal is understood.
Where to send a proposal
Send your pitch through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include enough detail for us to understand the proposed scope; a full draft is not needed unless requested. A proposal is not a guarantee of publication, and any commissioned work would need to meet the publication's editorial standards.
